Whether you're a local to Tuolumne County or a guest traveling to us from afar, we'd love to welcome you and your family to Around The Horn Brewing Company. We are kid friendly, and our outdoor beer garden (affectionately dubbed "The Corral") is dog friendly. Reservations are NOT required...we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Around The Horn Brewing Company and Gateway At The Brewery are located at: 17820 State Highway 120, Groveland, CA 95321.
We are in the Big Oak Flat neighborhood of Groveland, at the corner of Highway 120 and Wards Ferry Road, 1.5 miles from the top of Priest Grade, and 1.5 miles from downtown Groveland.
We have a large parking lot that can accommodate tour buses and motor homes. We ask that you please park these larger vehicles in the gravel area of the parking lot, if possible. Please remember, this is a private parking lot for customers only.

Reservations
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot guarantee tables. However, for large groups of more than six, please consider giving us a call (209-436-9919) or email (info@aroundthehornbeer.com) the day before you plan to visit to let us know your party size and the time you'd like to join us. This will help us to safely accommodate your group and our other guests. It is possible we will ask for a $50 per table deposit in advance of your reservation to hold the table for you.
Pet Policy
We love dogs as much as you do, and we know they're an important part of many families. Due to California state law, pets are not permitted to hang out inside the taproom.
Non-service dogs are permitted in both The Corral beer garden and front patio, and when our garage doors are open, the two front tables are a great option for hanging out with your four-legged and two-legged friends simultaneously. On particularly hot days and rainy cold days, we often have those garage doors closed, so please feel free to call us (209-436-9919) to ask about the status of the garage doors before you bring your pups.
Under California Health & Safety Code §§ 114259 and 114259.5, live animals are prohibited inside food facilities, except for trained service dogs. Since we serve food, we are required to follow these health codes and can be fined by the Health Department for not following them.
It’s also important to clarify that emotional support animals, therapy animals, comfort animals, and pets are not considered service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act and are therefore not permitted inside the taproom.
Service dogs must be on a leash/harness and may not bark, jump on customers/tables, run away from the owner, or urinate/defecate inside. If a service dog does do any of the above and the owner does not correct the behavior, we are legally allowed to ask the owner to remove the service dog from the premises.
